Q?
What do I need to bring?
-
A.
Typically, we tell our clients to bring a week’s worth of casual clothes. We have a laundry room on-site, and we provide detergent to all our clients. We do make optional trips to Celebrate Recovery on Friday and church on Sunday, if you would like to bring clothes for those activities.
If you smoke or use tobacco products, then you will want to bring those materials.
Also, you will want to bring toiletries, such as a toothbrush, approved razors, shaving cream, etc. Clients that wear prescription glasses or contacts will want to make sure they bring materials sufficient for 30 days. You are also encouraged to bring any personal materials, such as books, pictures, or magazines that you can enjoy during your free time. Please do not bring any electronics (phone, computer, tablet, etc.)
We have vending machines with snacks and drinks, so you will most likely want to bring a small amount of cash or coins to spend for that. We do provide lockers to secure valuables. We also make occasional trips to a general store, so it is possible to pick up some food or toiletry items, if necessary.
Finally, you will need to bring any medications (non-narcotics) that you are currently prescribed.

Q?
Do I need inpatient rehab?
-
A.
Residential, inpatient rehab can be disruptive to people’s professional and personal lives. We know and understand. However, if your life is one filled with struggle and pain because of substance abuse and addiction, then disrupting that is the point.
Our team of professionals at New Day Recovery will make a thorough assessment for each individual who walks through our doors to determine the best form of treatment for that person. If that assessment determines that you or your loved one should require inpatient treatment, it is because there needs to be some disruption to break unhealthy cycles and patterns. 35 days may seem like a huge amount of time right now, but in the big picture of your life and well-being, that investment is worth every second.
